Great news looking forward for new season, current season is so fun so far for me. Problem I have is waiting time for season 2, 4 months of waiting and anticipation. Can`t we get it just a little bit sooner?
Keep up the good work and don’t worry too much about all the rants! Game is getting better and better IMHO. I really enjoy it as a full offline player. I don’t care about the online part. Don’t get me wrong. It is ok to have it but it is not necessary for me to have fun exploring SSF way of play.
Bake this 1.2 update as long as you want. I will wait. Patience is a virtue and I prefer excellent more sofisticated quisine to fast food!
I really hope the game on the newer version of the engine will run smoother. It is not 100% perfect smooth now on my top notch super strong rig.
Just my 2 cents in the topic!
GL&HF!

bit of a disingenuous list when the updated over time ones are the current ones that suck up most of the oxygen in the room and the rest are older. Grim Dawn is also getting updates over time, but being SP offline with mods focus, the slower drip is ok, but still, even that sort of game is getting updated more since LE launched.
what game are you talking about - D4 is updated regularly and yes, some of that is based on the reddit whining (which is good), and PoE2 is EA and being updated already, PoE1 is slowed down but probably will be updated again soon enough, and even Grim Dawn is getting more updates and another expansion. Also, there is nothing wrong with calling these games “diablo-like” - that’s what we use to call them until aRPG took over (but still diablo-like stuck around), but now that term doesn’t make sense because the Souls series is an aRPG but they aint like diablo at all. Also, Diablo, like it or not, is still the 800lb gorilla in the room. Perhaps PoE2 joins it, but not just yet.
oh wait, yes, your one of THOSE people - the ones who cannot properly read a tweet or rather, need it to mean something it clearly did not because you need to get post truth and have hero corporations and villain corporations. Good vs Bad, simplistic, A vs B. I hope I am wrong, but the way things are on the internet, I likely am not. Unfortunately.
Sounds great. Thx guys
Bummer but i understand, hopefully it will be considered, at least. Because when people want to do Echoes, they want echoes, not arenas.
And people who want to do Arenas well… they go and do Arenas.
Imagine if when you do Arenas, you get random Echoes instead, wouldnt it be strange ? Not sure why its there in Echoes…
But thanks for the amazing work you guys put in the game !
I think they are going to regret having a date so far behind. seems like 1 season per 10 months feel is going to ruin every season for many of their player base. I dont like the idea of april 2025 one bit. if they need an extra tester i would be more then happy to help them out if they need it or want it as long as i dont have to move residence for them. I love this game but april 2025 to me makes me think of someones ego in an agile based meeting that just drives me crazy death by meeting.
anyways also dont like the idea of how much fluff is here. whats new?? it is ok to give us a taste of what is to come. infact it is preferred that you guys communicate efficiently to the player base of what is to come and when it is coming would be nice.
also i think on the minimum they should have about 3 seasons a year to aim for. not one for waiting for a ghost season. july … so 12-7 =5 months or so. it is time for a new season now. or january if they really wanted to be competitive on the seasons.
again not really being negative just upfront and honest about things.
Happy holidays to all and to all be safe.
So long as I have to unlock passives and idol slots every season on every character I can’t play this game. I hate your campaign so much. It was tolerable the first time and after that it is torture.
No way, you known them
I’m sure you have in mind that for any one person who declares “ded game” solely based on player count for any random point in time, there are plenty of people like me who bought the game based on the initial premise and are perfectly fine waiting until the game is more polished and better reflects the developers’ vision. It’s not like we’re not spoiled with tons of other games to have fun with while keeping tabs on the game’s progress.
I’m sure I’m not the first (or last) person to ask this, but if this team is taking the long route before releasing major patches, please make sure that all the major skill bugs are fixed and anticipate any build-breaking bugs before releasing the patch to the public. Waiting an extended period of time only for that build a player has anticipated for so long only to have that build become unplayable and broken because of bugs will really sour many players’ impressions (if they weren’t already soured by launch issues / already outstanding bugs).
I will eagerly anticipate the dungeon updates you have in store, as well as the additions you’re planning with monoliths.
Learn to shortcut campaign. It is easy with LA dungeon, EoT + TS dungeon route. With all passive pts and slots, w/o Lagon
I still play. After the D4 season ended for me (150 clear down lol) I had like 30+ hours played in 2 weeks. It def. has a window of attention for people like me. While April sounds like a long time, I think the longest D3 season was almost 300 days. Stuff happens, lol
Glad to see the investment into the monolith and Sentinel - Sentinel is my primary class and I play all 3 sub classes - can’t wait to play them all again and weaver echos and cemeteries. Finally we’re going to see the weaver and get some more crafting. (weaver items are one of my favorite features)
I was never a fan of the dungeons so it will be nice to see what the improvements are going to be. Not a fan of super omega boss fights, but am eager to see the new bosses and champions. The Imperial event mobs in 1.1 were eventually fun and dropped a ton of glyphs and shards.
Nice work EHG.
Everything on the image. Plus more since that’s just the highlights.
Their plan/desire is & always has been for 3-4 per year but they’ve not hit their stride yet (a bit of an understatement I know, but I’m British so it’s ok).
all this is pointless unless you radically solve the problem with the game’s performance and optimization. All this is unnecessary, just give it optimization. Otherwise, out of five players left in the game, two will remain.
Ye need to hire more developers, although this requireth more money… It might be worth asking for help or looking for investors. 6-7 month for developing is too long right now.
arena rework/remove please
these changes and updates are exciting.
You don’t have to do it on every character every season, once the character has them that doesn’t reset. If you created a season character then it gets moved to standard (eternal) and you just keep playing as you were.
They are continually working to improve performance, and it’s even stated in the original post.
“we’ve restructured the features we’ve been working on for Season 2 to specifically address the greatest areas of feedback: expanding endgame content, better new player experience, and improved Dungeons, performance, and balance.”
