Search funtion for inventory

would be very helpful to have a search function, exactly like the one in the stash, for your inventory and what you are wearing.

I agree that sometimes i overlook a specific item i’m looking for in my inventory but since the inventory is so small and the amount of items you are wearing is limited, hovering the mouse over all the items is probably quicker than writing something into the search bar. (Especially for console players i guess)

I try to think of a scenario where this could be helpful. But since the lootfilter makes it so much easier for you to sort out items i really dont think it would be necessary to add. I also think that with growing game knowledge and playtime this function will get useless after knowing each item type and a well established lootfilter, compared to the search function in your stash where it definitely can get messy.

I also don’t remember any other arpg that has a search bar in your inventory? But this is just my opinion, so maybe some others agree with you to add this for additional qol.

Would be nice if the search box from the stash would also highlight items in the inventory when you have both windows open.

Especially when I have a ton of small items in my inventory (like rings and amus) a search box would be handy.

This sounds good to me, yes.

This is probably the reason why op mentioned it which i can understand because you can have so much more items in your inventory. Thats why rings and amulets are the first ones i set up in my lootfilter

Would also be nice if they could update the search function itself with more features… Right now the way it searches for things is a little off… For example… if you wanted to search for ā€œSentinelā€ specific items, it works fine, but if you wanted to search for ā€œMageā€ specific items you get every single thing because the letters ā€œmageā€ exist in words like ā€œdamageā€

imho I think it would be a nice update - search within a class, search by class, allow exclude / include tags, highlight search results better rather than just dulling non matches etc…

the more goodies you have the more difficult it gets to find things - especially specific things.
