- Use of semi colon “;” to search multiple affixes at once in an item. So if I type–fire damage;ignite --it’ll highlight all items with these 2 affixes. Could search 3 or more affixes too.
- Use of quotation marks “” to search EXACT results. So if I type–“fire resistance” --it’ll highlight ONLY those with Fire Resistance.
- As of typing this #2. Searching for fire resistance gives me this. I know it’s pulling the keyword from the description if you press Alt, but I don’t think this should happen as this just increase visual clutter when trying to search specific items. For me, this is so annoying.
- Using “Equippable” or “Can equip” keyword to show only equippable items at your current level.
- I had to put 1x3 or 1x4 weapons on their own tabs because I find it so hard to search for an equippable item despite having an “X” at the bottom. Because mixing 2x"X" items with 1x"X" just creates more clutter and harder to keep track of the “X” instead of just looking or searching vertically. Here’s a sample if you know what I mean:
-
The picture above just shows how I personally do it, just to make searching equippable items a bit easier. But this doesn’t eliminate the fact that I still have to go through each item to check if there’s “X” in it. So this doesn’t really make it easier in general.
-
With so much stash tab we can get, looking at each item and slightly looking down just to see if there’s an “X” in it can be time consuming instead of just highlighting everything that’s currently at your character level. This on top of the problem I have as #2, this is even more time consuming.
-
With the problems I mentioned being present in the game, let’s assume I’m a Lv40 Lich, sometimes I just have no choice but to do it like type “Level 30,31,32,33…” and so on just to see what I can possibly use.
-
This is tied to #2 too and the reason above this. If I type “Level 5” Please show me only items requiring Level FIVE. I don’t want to see Level 51,52,53,54…so on hence I suggested #2.
- Having a feature to direct your eyes to something what you’re looking for is a great QoL imo rather than having to inspect multiple items at once when all I wanted is to see what I can currently equip.
Overall, I think this needs to be improved even not really a priority. I’m probably the only one getting bothered by it by this much. By any chance if something like this will be implemented in the future, it would be nice to have a documentation in the “Help” in-game guide on how to use it. So I’ll just drop it here.
What else did I miss? Are there any contradictions here that I might have overlooked? If so, share your thoughts.
