Just like the title says. It would be nice to have a search bar for the character inventory. So when you are running around Eterra picking up goods and you remember picking up a piece of gear with a specific affix, the search feature in the inventory would help in locating that item. That way you did not have to scroll over and read the description for each item until you find the right one. Or while the stash window was open, the search feature there could include what the character was wearing and the inventory in the highlight ability.
Example: you wanted to see if any of the items you collected during an MoF run had the Prefix “Enduring”, that way you could shatter them for the shards. Having this feature in the inventory would highlight all items your character was wearing along with the items in the inventory. Making it easy to identify which items to shatter and which items to sell.
There is even a space next to the Crafting tab for just such a thing.

I’m down. Nice quality of life bit.
In the meantime a work-around, at least while in town, is to have a stash tab for dumping your inventory and use it’s search.
