When i set screen resolution to QHD (I have UHD monitor) and set game in fullscreen or full-windowed modes, sometimes resolution goes back to UHD on scenes loading.
I think that’ll be because you set the res to lower than your monitor so when you select a flavour of fullscreen it “corrects” it for you. Not sure if it’s a bug (since after you selected a screen res you then selected an “incompatible” option afterwards), but IMO it should respect your selected res as a priority over the monitor’s res.
