Noticed this happening recently and others in global chat said they were experiencing it as well. When hitting the hotkey to change the minimap display from center screen to the corner, I get a small screen freeze for about 0.25-0.5 seconds.
I can confirm this and it’s not only the map. It happens if you close any menu (inventory, character screen, …). It’s just most noticable with the map, since you often use that while moving. It’s also independent of other performance, just a consistent 1 frame “hiccup”.
This was 100% not the case when Harbingers launched, I think it was introduced with one of the Uprising patches.
