Hey guys, just wanted to share my loot filter specifically for Rogues and will be adding more in a small list populated soon! Check it out, leave some comments and let me know what you think. If you need help please read the readme file. Its extremely simple. Thanks. Release SchematX Rogue Loot Filter · SchematX/Last-Epoch-Projects (github.com)
I just inspected your loot filter out of curiosity.
Just some quick thoughts (some of this may be very subjective):
I personally do not like hiding magic items, since they often times are better bases to craft with. (Having a rare item with ALL desired affixes is way less common, than having a high tier magic item with 1-2 desired affixes)
The “Hide everything under ILVL 50” Rule only has a 0-50 level dependancy, which has nothing to do with filtering items via actual ILVL. You basically only hiding everything except idols until your character reaches level 51. If you would want to hide items below level 50 you need a “Level; Below Level; 50” Condition". But alot of usefull items (even for endgame) actually don’t have ilevel. In LE there is no “Item Level”, just an equippable level.
Alot of the accessories and relics for example have very low levels, but are still very usefull for endgame.
Your recolor rule for different classes has no affect, since you have a “Hide All Primalist, Mage, Sentinel, Acolyte-Specific Items” Rule at the very top.
The hide rule will already hide all Body Armours and Helmets form different classes.
Recolor all ILVL 50+ Items Rule is pretty broad and not strict at all, this will lead to ALOT of rare items be shown, that have no value for your, neither shattering nor using.
You have seperate rules to recolor Set, Unique and Exalted Items. Those will already act as a “Show Rule”, so the “Show All Uniques/Set/Exalted Items” rule is redundant
On top of that you have a “Hide Rule” for all weapon types, except Swords, Daggers, Bows and Quiver at the very top, this will lead to Uniques that are not of those 4 types to be hidden already.
Depending, if you want to see Set/Unqiues/Exalted Items of those other weapons types or not, i would always move those broad show rules to the very top
There are two identical “Hide All Primalist, Mage, Sentinel, Acolyte-Specific Items” rules, one at the top and one in the middle.
You have a recolor affix for a very broad spectrum of affixes and some recolor rules for specific bases. I personally would put the rules for base types above the affix rules, since bases are a bit less common than affixes and your affix recolor rules will always color those desired endgame bases.
I personally inspect high endgame bases very closely, regardless of affixes on alot of chars.
So having those clearly highlighted in a specific color is worth more IMO.
Since your affix recolors will recolor ALOT of items, you coudl easily skip some desired endgame bases.
For a more endgame focused loot filter i would suggest adding another recolor rule for your desired affixes in a different color above the other affix recolors, with a Tier X or higher condition.
That way Items with for example Tier 4 or 5 affixes get highlighted differently.
Some of my points are subjective and some are a bit more obective. Don’t take any of my thoughts as an offense or devaluing any of your effort.
Cheers
EDIT:
Your affix recolor and rare recolor rule have the same color, which is not optimal IMO.
All the base item hide rules (i assume your just kept them from my base filter) are at the very bottom. Most of them have no affect at all, since the majority of items already get shown or recolored at the top of the filter.
You might want to consider moving alot of the recolor/show rules for rares and affixes below all the base item hide rules.
This is my Rogue filter which does not fully fit on this screenshot and this is my end game filter, I have a leveling filter
I hide all non class idols except Lagonian Vigorous Stout of Life for double HP affix
Hide all magic/rare/common items with no value to me
Blue coloured items are to smash for affixes which I barely loot now as I have 100-1600 of every non-class shard
White items are class specific shards gear to smash and class specific idols - i loot these always
Orange items are base items with specific affixes that are potentially good to craft on- my best gear comes from these drops now as I dont gamble much anymore - I have multiple t15+ Solarum Greaves/Plated Belts/Enduring Gauntlets with 2x set affixes/2x hp rolls etc
New loot filters make the game so much better as I actually farm my gear now instead of just sitting at a vendor getting frustrated
