Save file Corruption on Power Loss

There was a power-outage while I was playing and upon logging back into the game after everything came back I realized that I lost all my gold, everything in my stash (purchased tabs, all items) and all my affix shards. My character’s inventories and equipment are there but everything that is shared between characters is gone.

I realize I probably cannot get anything back but the save system should not be prone to this kind of issue and I consider it a very bad bug that this can occur at all. Abnormal program termination of any kind should never result in complete data loss especially since I was mid-combat when this occured and not performing any actions on my inventory.

There are backups of the save files in the save directory where the log files are saved. If you copy the backups over the original save files that should work.

I already found those and both Epoch_Local_Global_Data_Beta and Epoch_Local_Global_Data_Beta_temp were both 1kb and very much default empty json/serialized files.

Sorry about this! Could you please upload your log files and system information so we can look into the issue?
