Sacred Bloom shooting range

These not-so-little flowers are shooting from about 2 screens away, before player is even engaged in combat. While in closed areas it’s just annoying, in open ones whole screen is covered in green circles before you can see any monster, and no way to find from what direction they are shooting. And even if you find them, new ones are already shooting from 2 screens away.

The angle the projectile comes down at is the direction the mob is in.

I tried to stay near one of blossoms after killing nearby monsters and look at projectile angle. For me it was random.
And anyways, giving a monster such range that it can shoot from 2 screens away isn’t good idea. On open maps it’s easily 5-10 blossoms shooting as soon as echo started, and much more while you are running through just because as you kill one of them, you get more of them aggroed already.

I watch the angle it falls from and always find the blood based on the angle of descent.
If it’s falling nearly straight down but a very slight angle to the right, then I know it’s close and to the right, etc. Thus far I have never been led astray by this.
I’m not sure everyone else is experiencing it the same but if you’re not then a video might help your case.

Direction is less of a problem here. Biggest problem is their aggro and firing range. As soon as you killed one, another two are already firing from 2 screens away again, and it repeats for whole echo area. In open areas you instantly aggro 3-5 or even more of them, and no matter which one will you kill, even more of them will notice player from far away, until you finish echo and quit.

Yeah, they can be annoying, especially since they attack from so far away. At least they’re easy to avoid as they telegraph well in advance.
