As I’ve played LE over the past couple of months I have been keeping a list of issues and suggestions. I thought it was finally the right time to share and get feedback. I am certain that most, if not all, of these items have been mentioned before. Some of them have been considered by the Devs, from what I’ve heard, and are not part of their vision (some of the loot filter wishlist items at least). Let me know what you all think.
Bugs:
The visual "paths "to skill nodes in the skill specialization trees do not revert to normal (grey) when skills are respecced and removed
“Shift-Right Click to Buy” text still often too large - (3440x1440 ultrawide Resolution)
When comparing an item in your inventory to an equipped item and looking at the Affix ranges with ALT, the equipped item will show the roll ranges of the compared item, not of the item equipped
Numerous numeric/math bugs on the stats screen in some situations - (Dodge, Mana Regen commonly)
Helmets randomly become invisible until unequipeed/reequipped
No Warning/error message if you try to enter a Monolith boss zone in a party when your character has not ever completed the earlier story echoes. The game just never loads into the boss area for any party members
The skill Shield Rush can make the player get stuck beneath the terrain during the Reign of Dragons boss fight, and some other places
Performance:
The GPU load/power draw on the Character Select screen is far too high, higher than in most gameplay scenarios
Suggestions:
Add an on-hover tooltip for the Runes and Glyphs Totals under "Crafting Materials, showing how many of each Glyph/Shard type the player has
When Hovering over a Rune or other crafting consumable in a vendor’s inventory, also show how many are in the player’s Forge.
Show the number of Forge-banked shards of a certain affix next to that affix’s name on all advanced gear tooltips. (from 0 to “99+” at least)
Add a tooltip on hotkey to show potential Affixes for a given upgrade slot. (ex - hold ctrl+shift while hovering over an affix slot in the Forge, to show a list of the potential affixes for that slot if added/chaos’d etc.
Remove Waypoints from map for sub-quests once collected/complete (Heoborean Cure for example)
Add greater diversity in Echo effects and make them not affect the boss at all, or provide more ways to remove them before boss fights. If we choose to fight bosses with more negative effects, increase rewards accordingly
Add more small areas/treasure rooms accessible throughout the campaign from main maps, that don’t reset your map progress, only one or two early plus cellars in Majelka?
Loot filter: Add options to filter by Vendor Sell Price and percentage of Roll Ranges (including Implicit ranges)
A mechanic to add a rank of LP to uniques (and maybe set items) would be awesome if it were really rare/tough to do, otherwise the end game becomes “just trash anything with 0-1 LP”
Add a Lock toggle on the stash to prevent rearranging of stash tabs by accident
Add search options for locations/NPCs/Boss names on the various world/timeline maps. I rarely recall which Era a given place or person can be found
The Game Guide is great, in theory, but as an experienced player, every time I have a question about a term on gear/skills I find them missing from the Game Guide:
“Deadly”
“Rampant”
“Enrage”
“Marked for Death”
“Demise”
“Frenzy”
Things that make the game feel less than ‘A’ tier:
Maps (Especially for static regions like towns) not being saved/preserved per character. (Or just make town maps default to 100% revealed)
Closer to instant feedback in the local client for portal use and scene transitions. I’d rather have the local client show a load screen immediately and make me wait, than the current behavior where it’s laggy/slow to transition and it’s not obvious that a transition is even going to occur.
Typos / Minor stuff:
Chance to Cast Fire Aura on Critical Strike - Missing closing parens after cooldown detail
“Physical Penetration with Bleed” tooltip has an extra space in between Physical and Penetration. (Sentinel Helm)
Thanks for reading! I hope there are a few things in there that others hadn’t noticed or considered.
