I am on my VK right now, and it’s been 3-4 days since I have seen a rune of ascendance. I have none in my forge. Just nothing. I have been doing teh same content that was awarding me runes, just like a few days ago…but then they suddenly just stopped dropping. Running level 80 monoliths, farming for gear. Same as always.
Am I doing something wrong? Is it bug and I need to go report it?
They are relatively rare and start dropping a lot more when you push into empowered and then even more with a little bit of corruption/item rarity.
The fact that you dropped so many before even reaching level 100 monoliths was just pure luck on your side.
Do you play Circle of Fortune? You can target farm them with prophecies very easily. They are one of the dedicated rewards for prophecies.
And even when playing MG you can still utilize the Weaver Tree to remove many of the common Echo Rewards and just leave Rune rewards in and hunt regular rune reward echoes.
When target farming Rune Echoes you will drop a bunch of them while also occasionalyl get some Havoc and Redemption Runes which are also very desireable.
I actually didn’t know that. I will go get some prophecies now. Thanks for the advice.
Also, farm things that always drop runes (mages, caches, etc.). You can also customize the Weaver Tree to have more runes drop from champions, etc.
