Root Wall, Ice Thorns, and Thorn Shield

In the Spriggan Form, I am using the On Frozen Grounds node, so that the root wall casts ice thorns. Normally, the ice thorns are cast from the root wall segments.

But once I specialize ice thorns to use the Thorn Shield node, the ice thorns are now cast from myself.

Edit - This could be a fun way to transform the skill, but it seems unintentional.
