Rogue vs bosses

This isn’t intended to judge or demand anything, merely somewhat like a journal entry regarding my so far journey of 15-20 hours in 1.1

The topic shall be balance and survivability for I have come to the conclusion that for the latter there is hardly a difference between 400 and 2k corruption. Also bosses and harbingers seem to vary greatly in difficulty.

I came into 1.1 with time lines ranging from 500 to 2k and have simply worked my way up from the lowest to the highest.

My Marksman has nigh everything imaginable for hp-based survival, 4k hp, 2 Red Rings (20% less damage taken) and Ravenous Void (15%), 67% armor and either dodge or high endurance (Mountain Boots).

And what does that do? It feels like nothing sometimes. Regular echoes up to 1k corruption have very few dangers, even 2k was doable, though dangerous. I can face-tank a 1k Nemesis (edit: not the poison one  ).

But what’s the matter? Bosses. I am reduced to a Super Mario where getting hit at all takes half my hp and is very often outright lethal. Nearly no difference between 400c or 1,3k, my highest harbinger. You just have to do the same dance for a bit longer. Alternatively you can blast certain bosses without a fight, but that is obviously affected by their hp and thus corruption.

I wonder if this is intended? Is there still a goal line like 300c where going beyond is supposed to turn everything into one-shots? Or is this the Rogue experience?
