[Rogue Suggestion] Let "Dancing Strikes" channel while moving (Like Warpath) to reward the Rogue's mobility!

Hi EHG Devs and Community,

Currently, the Rogue’s Dancing Strikes has a node that turns the skill into a channeled ability. However, this channeled version feels very clunky and underutilized because it forces the player to stand completely still in a game that heavily punishes lack of mobility in the endgame.

Right now, Sentinel’s Warpath is the only true “spin-to-win” (channel-while-moving) skill in the game. I believe allowing Dancing Strikes to move while channeling would be an amazing addition for the following reasons:

  1. Fits the Rogue’s Identity: Rogue is all about speed, agility, and constant repositioning. Standing still to channel a melee area-of-effect skill completely contradicts the class fantasy.

  2. Creates New Build Diversity: It would open up a completely new, fun playstyle for Rogue players who enjoy fluid, mobile clear-speeds, similar to Warpath but with a classic Rogue/Bladedancer flair.

  3. Balancing Potential: To prevent it from being overpowered compared to Warpath, the movement speed during channeling could be reduced by a certain percentage, or requires investing into specific nodes in the tree.

Please consider tweaking the channeling node for Dancing Strikes to allow movement. It would make the skill significantly more fun and viable!

What do you guys think?

Ehm… no?

There is no channel Node for Dancing Strikes.

That wouldn’t even work with The Flow Passive from BD, one of the major thematic archetypes especially for Dancing Strikes.

Not sure if this is a translation issue or some kind of Ai issue.

I assume the OP probably meant Shadow Cascade.

Apart from Focus with the Mana Guide amulet.
