Rogue Decoy question

In the skill tree for decoy, bottom right “Acid Fumes” final explosion is replaced by acid flask, now is it the base skill of Acid flask as poison damage, or is it the Acid flask skill tree that you have set up on your skill bar? Im playing around wih a fire build. I set up my acid flask for fire, and curious to know that my decoy would set off my fire flask instead of the base one.

Generally, if nodes within any skill’s skill tree refer to other skills, they will use their skill spec tree, unless otherwise stated.

That’s just a base thing in LE.

So for your case, the explosions the decoy emmits, will be acid flask explosions and when the decoy explodes it will drop 3 acid flasks per decoy.

Also you do not have to have acid flask on your action bar.

In addition to what Heavy said, there are some nodes in Acid Flask that Decoy won’t “use”, such as Toxic Salvo (Decoy will throw 3 flasks, not use your Acud Flask skill 3 times). Though the conversion to fire shouldn’t be a problem.
