Are y’all gonna do something about this?
there is still no report button for ingame, only block.
this is getting rediculous at this point.

Judd (the big boss) on reddit, regarding a similar question:
“Im having a discussion on how we can target these messages/accounts and ban faster tomorrow. We’re banning them pretty quickly but we need a faster way to target en masse”
You don’t have a report button because it’s not needed, as they’re already being banned. In the time it would take you to report them and mods reading through all of them, they’re already gone.
I mean I’ll work for them to personally ban the accounts for free if they need help
glad they are discussing it though, that’s huge

I mean ive seen the same bots, same name, for more than 3 hours at a time
My personal recommendation to EHG is the same thing Blizzard did (extremely successfully). And that’s to destroy the bots which support those accounts, that’s why they’re profitable enough to warrant them existing after all.
To do that bots shouldn’t be banned simply but instead making a background checking programm to ensure they’re found, leaving them alone for a few days to allow botters to invest heavily into them. And after those days when they bought respective amounts of accounts you make a ban-wave, catching freshly set up ones more heavily.
That’s been a proven functional method in the gaming sector for online games, costing the botters substantial amounts of money without the revenue they would otherwise make. The fight against botters is always a uphill battle, if you plug one way on how they do it they adapt… and if you keep constantly plugging those leaks not only does it cost massive amounts of resources but you also only get more and more advanced ones soon enough outpacing the ability of a company to deal with them.
The slower method is safer, more reliable long-term and hurts the botters a lot more at the cost of short-term issues. Overall a lowered amount of botters though over a long timeframe.
