Rip Blood can still target and damage enemies with Marrow Drinker. The life gain works as intended only on minions.

I noticed this as well. If the target is far enough away from a minion rip blood will be cast on the target.
I’ve seen it target them, but not deal damage.
Edit: It seems that if the target is a bit further than the circle around the dummy from a minion then you can cast Rip Blood on it even with Marrow Drinker.
The damage appears to be coming from the blood splatter, not Rip Blood itself.
Possibly, yes, since otherwise there would be 2 hits not just 1. But the Rip Blood shouldn’t even be able to be case on the dummy.
It’s just very odd, more so if there’s disembodied blood splatters being cast without their Rip Blood…
