- Only magic, rare or exalted can be corrupted, nor unique nor set nor reforged set nor primordial etc.
- Corrupted affixes are all unique, and has hidden differentiation into suffixes and prefixes.
- Remove Corrupted rune from Apophis, and put new crafting station near her or add Weaver Echo with this station.
- At this station You can redeem corrupted items. When item is redeemed, corrupted affix move to free slot or replace existed suffix or prefix, depends on type of corrupted affix.
- Redeemed item can be used in crafting as usual: for reforged sets, primordial exalted, slaming to legendaries, exept you can’t make crafting shards from redeemed affix and mb can’t change it’s tier.
- And yeah, make inprint chances more democratic.
P.S.: corrupted idols, altars can stay as is
i was totally floored when i realised that you really cannot do ANYTHING with corrupted items. What is the point of these natural corrupted item drops if
- i cant at least use it to slam a t7 affix (not sealed or corruption affix even) in the eternity cache / julra ?
- you cant even havoc the few that drop multi stats and have the wrong stat as t7 ?
- you cant even roll the dice (this seems to be the big theme of s4) through redemption ?
I remember back in the days of 0.7 or similar when the normal crafting system (max t5 in those days without sealed affixes also) could shatter an item if you ran out of FP. So you ended up stopping the craft at suboptimal level so as to not loose a reasonable item. It was one of the best design decisions made by LE to removed that system but it has now been re-introduced via corruption.
Literally! Once you finish levelling they’re worthless. Least shit corruptions on uniques can be re-rolled to sacrifice in gauntlet for lp items but the general corrupted items that drop are just straight up garbage compared to a slammed unique
