Resolution randomly changes to 4k

I have two 4k monitors, Windows is set to display in 4k as well. But my PC can’t handle the game at that resolution, so I set it to 1080p in the settings. Sometimes when changing zones the resolution of the game resets itself to 4k. Changing the resolution or overall setting sets it back to 1080p. Maybe other options work, but I havent tried them.
