Video example- some UI elements are functionally lower than they are visually, while other UI elements are in the correct position but have a nearby duplicate copy of the click area. Not all UI is affected, and UI types that are affected are consistent but seemingly unpredictable- for example, picking up an item from the inventory is physically displaced from visual, but putting an item down and getting tooltips to appear when mousing over an item are not.
This specifically occurs when the game is in windowed mode, and the game window is resized- as someone that prefers to have games in a maximised window state so that I can still see my taskbar, it’s a little frustrating to deal with. Restoring the game window does not fix the issue despite returning to an “intended” UI size, but going into settings and re-applying window size from there does, at least until the window is resized again. This affects both maximising the window and dragging the window’s edges to a new size.
While simply disallowing the window from being freely resized would fix this issue, I’d like to specifically request that the underlying issue be fixed instead because I rely on maximised windows more than I care to admit.
