Had not run into this one before. Kind of disappointing to see a broken boss essentially borrowed. It’s 2 attacks looked like minor modifications but way out of wack. AOE circle when you move out of the way of it you basically are going so far the mob is out of sight. It’s direct line aoe attack is also reaching so far the mob is basically out of sight when you avoid it, and it appears to be not obeying obsticles. Could also be pushed around just like EoC.
It disappointed you that different dragons are similar to each other?
Ok.
They are “baby” dragons, the same one you are fighting during the 2nd echo quest of the timeline. To me it make sense they have the same skills as the adult necrotic version (EoC)
No. Just why borrow from broken stuff? That would be like taking broken Lagon, scale it down to regular echo level, changing the skin and calling it done.
Why do you feel it’s broken? Other than the AoE, the rest is easy to avoid. When it does the fire breath you just side-step and it even gives you a few seconds of free whack-a-mole, since he doesn’t move until it’s finished.
If you compare it to Heorot, for example, it’s actually pretty tame.
Why have similar enemies share a common theme in their abilities? That’s your question?
Emperor of Corpses isn’t even broken to begin with.
