Or just, you know, damage the boss. Maybe even with a DoT.
It’s really not the worst modifier. Overall it’s manageable.
i experienced this too, on emperor of corpses. It feels like there are a lot of modifiers that screw with slow hitting builds. Dodge is unplayable, crit avoidance hurts a lot more than other faster crit builds, You feel the difference in glancing blows. the only mod that is anywhere close to being a freebie are things like enrage on low hp, because many of times slow hitting builds will have cull or just straight out one shot.

Yeah, I don’t mind regen modifiers compared to others like dodge & XXX enemies have 50 trillion % increased damage & health.
I can see that some mods are more impactful than others, but overall these mods are meant to make the difficulty harder for the players and they definitely achieve that.
I agree that dodge is overtuned, especially for Echo 20+ empowered.
GB really isn’t that bad, especially on empowered it doesn’t scale that well and soon becomes a very easy modifer comapre to the other ones.
But even GB is basically a free mod for DoT builds.
Crit Avoidance is probably the most impactful mod of them all, since it usually cuts your damage by 2/3-3/4 (or even more), depending on your build, once it reached 100%.
I would like to have more tools to coutneract some of these mods.
Rogue already has 2 methods of dealing with dodge and crit avoidance.
But overall i still think keeping those mods to be very impactfull is the best thing, just make most mods more equal in terms of impact.
But some mods are ways worse for certain builds, which is also fine.

Probably my favorite modifier to take in mono. But i have to admit that it is very easy to get around with a bow in hand.
imo there are too many modifiers where DoT gets a free pass. crit avoid, GB, regen if dmg not taken recently, dodge if it is a spell DoT like disintegrate.

Not when you’re manually dodging through all their not immune phases but their big dance moves, still sucks
