Regarding mid cycle bug fixes

I’ve just watched McFluffin’s video on Detonating Arrow builds’ “bugs”

I do not know if he is correct about everything he mentioned in his video, other people agree that some aspects could be bugged but not all of the things he mentioned.

I will not be playing if this gets fixed, as bad as that sounds. I am not a theory crafter, and I am certainly not a build tester per-se. I copy builds that look fun to play and I just… play. I do not want to play with the fear of whatever build I’m playing being bugged in a way. A ton of people have invested a ton of time and gold (including me) into bugged builds that they did not know were bugged. Everyone up until this point thought Detonating Arrow was just extremely overtuned, which is okay since EHG Devs confirmed they will not be nerfing overperforming builds mid cycle.

EHG, please get your stuff together and test skills/passives beforehand, or give us a PTR.

I will not play the game if bugs get fixed and I can’t abuse them anymore.

There are much more direct ways of saying your feedback and opinions should be disregarded.

You clearly didn’t finish reading. I don’t want to play the game with the fear that the builds I end up working hard building up, end up being bugged. It’s just a huge kick in the balls

Hoping this don’t get fixed until i finish the build ! Done played my paladin pretty high and playing something with some dps looks pretty fun!

I finished reading just fine. Your fear is both nonsense and overstated, so I ignored it.

If you knowingly netdecked a YouTuber’s build which is likely taking advantage of bugs, and those bugs might get fixed to your build’s detriment, you don’t have valid feedback to give about the topic of when bugs should be fixed. Sorry.

What do you mean likely taking advantage of bugs? I theory crafted my own version of the build which I saw on YouTube, correct but,

The YouTuber didn’t sell me into playing the build because it’s bugged LOL, up until McFluffin made that video pointing stuff out no one had a clue, we all just thought it was overtuned.

I didn’t knowingly do anything, stop using that word so loosely. I played the bugged Warlock, I knew bugs would get fixed, why would I want to put myself through that again. Please make it make sense

Read the OP. He didn’t know detonating arrow was bugged and thought it was just overturned. By that standards, EHG wouldn’t nerf it. But it’s been weeks since that build was known and it may seem as though it’s bugged. By that standard, EHG would nerf it. People don’t actively test for bugs before playing a build, only someone who knows the game inside out and has the time would do that.

I’m all for fixing bugs, but EHG has culpability if their game is buggy. It’s not our job to find all the bugs, it’s theirs.

Thank you for perhaps wording it better than me, I agree with everything you said. I was not purposefully playing this build knowing it was bugged, I just found it super fun and easy.
