I wonder if “reduced damage taken while on low life” (for example from the Death Door Rogue passive) works like Endurance regarding one shots.
Here is what the game guide says about Endurance: “Endurance applies to any damage taken below your Endurance Threshold, even if the instance of damage applied while you were above it.”
You mean that the damage mitigation kicks in for all damage that remains after you reach your low-health condition?
I don’t actually know. It’s difficult to test reliably, I tried when I made a low-health Primalist. I don’t think it does trigger, but wasn’t sure, so I just went with the safer assumption that it doesn’t count and gave my Primalist items to prevent life leech and converted all potion health to ward.
Yes, exactly that is my question. It would make reduced damage taken while on low health a lot better because it would be unconditionally useful like Endurance.
Otherwise, it would be kind of meh the higher the damage taken per hit is.
