Hey guys,
What HP pool would you recommend as “standard” for level 100 timelines? 1000? 1500?
Hey guys,
What HP pool would you recommend as “standard” for level 100 timelines? 1000? 1500?
That depends on the build. Low life ward builds would have more max health, dodge & endurance builds would likely have less or around those levels.
Hey…
Sure the guys that post all the crazy builds on the forum will have a better idea for you but in my opinion it depends heavily on your other damage mitigation… You can for instance have 1 health and 3000 Ward and cruise through the 100 MoF…
Generally, you need enough health to be able to take a big hit with all your mitigation factored in… Then your health regen/leech etc has to kick in and heal you before the next hit…
Tricky question to answer really… Depend on your build.
I should have been more specific, sorry about that.
I’m talking about my rogue build that’s not focusing on dodge nor glancing blow nor armor nor ward nor endurance (a generalist build?).
It just caps all resistances past 75% and caps crit avoidance at 100%.
It has huge leech life (17%) on Hail of Arrows that hits like a truck (120k damage per tick after ramp up).
I don’t get one shot, health bar refills extremely fast as long as i’m dealing damage. Taking 2-3 hits while not dealing damage will kill me though. I currently have 1200 HPs.
Here’s the build I’m playing:
I thought there was an agreed standard for health in LE like in diablo 3 you usually want 800k-1M for pushing.
If thats all you are focussing on, and dont have any other specific damage mitigation/reduction from gear or skills/passives then I would expect you to need closer to 1500-2000 HP and be pretty good at kiting to miss the telegraphed attacks and to get around the AoEs that the bosses love using. Life leech will keep you alive but its those multiple fast hits or DoTs that will be your vulnerability.
Not impossible by any means… but 1200 HP is probably too low without any backup… imho.
What backup would you recommend?
I am not one of the more advanced theorycrafters & mathematicians here on the forum, but for a Rogue its fairly easy to add dodge or glancing blow to the mix.
You may find that even a 20-30% chance could make a noticeable difference to your survivability.
Endurance is also very good as its a flat damage reduction % but I have found that its not that easy to get the threshold up to a decent level - at least half of your HP seems decent to me.
Thanks for the help
