I haven’t noticed it anywhere else(limited experience), but fighting the voidfused forge thing in 2ndtimerift>lastrefuge>armoury after the ‘swarm’ - well there are quite a lot of loot drops. It may be an issue with the lootfilter changing label priorities in the GUI, I’ll try see if that’s the case - but atm the dot dmg notifications from the aoe are very obviously(when you’re looking for it) being obscured under lootlabels.
;it’s not - turning off the filters did not change the priority in any obvious way, dmg popups were still inferior.
Idk if it just seems like an issue to me coz one of my toons died there after killing the thing when I didn’t even notice it was still taking dmg
This is very interesting, and when i think about it i am actually not 100% sure if this is the same behaviour everywhere or just for specific abilities.
But i think Item Labes are above everything everywhere in the game,.
I am already so used to the abilities and interface of LE after playing so many hours, this is something i don’t even think about.
Great input from a fresh perspective!
If there is a solution to make Item Labels obscuring less vision, without completeley hiding them, that would be ok.
But maybe therecould be an toggle option of some sorts, because i personally would probably want loot to have priority.
But that’s just me.
EDIT:
Some of the base skills that are spells in the base mage class are already catered towards Spellblade very much, namely Static and Snap Freeze.
Spellblade itself not having exclusive skills is ok IMO. Since you can use all base mage skills and could also put a few points into the sorcerer passive tree to get mroe spells there.
Before 0.8.1 Static actually was a Skill in the Spellblade Tree (i think 10 or 15 points in), but the mage skill progression got majorly reshuffeled with the implementation of Arcane Surge.
Spellblade itself not having exclusive skills is ok IMO.
I’m sure it’s ok, it’s just I happened to notice that rune sap(manastrike) would be quite nice for bloating spell damage if/when a boss had ads… (atm it can obviously bloat a sorcerers dmg output enormously - if manastrike dmg was preferred for high area ofc, it could hit entire swarms multiple times and theoretically bloat meteor(eg) by 100s of %) and that I hadn’t intended to take any active spells with the (intended) ‘final’ build… then that a profession known as a spellblade, well… just a semantic point ofc.
