Rebuke's Inner Focus not generating mana

I first noticed this against the Void Amalgam’s lightning beam where it would hopefully be very evident:

The Inner Focus node for Rebuke “Regenerate mana when you are hit while channelling Rebuke.” does not appear to function against the Void Amalgam’s beam.

Edit: Having tested it against normal melee hits, it appears to function as expected.

The lightning beam probably isn’t a hit. If it’s tagged as a DoT then it can’t hit.

LLama8 is correct here, Void Amalgamations beam is DoT damage therefore it doesn’t hit and would not proc on hit effects.

Ah, thank you. I assumed as much (after a while pondering it), but it’s good to be confirmed. Looks like I need to rethink what constitutes a DoT and what makes a repeated hit.
