Just tested Razor Wings and removed it again very fast. Is it as intended? Without, I just can trigger my falcon, and it hits everything with devastating speed. But with Razor Wing I have to aim… resulting in some unpleasant deaths, because it just didn’t fire. And it hits only once, which is far less damage on a weaker enemy than a normal attack. I would at least expect, that he comes back like a boomerang and hits several times. As it is, the skill seems useless to me, especially on bosses, which are hard to hit, while running arround.
I had the exact same experience with it. I don’t really understand the point - it’s down a branch where you take multiple perks to increase the number of falcon strikes and then this just reduces that all down to a single hit. From what I could tell the hit was doing around 4x the damage of a normal strike, but the normal strikes hit like 8+ times so this winds up being way worse. I wish you could get the “Area bonus” node behind this one without having to have this change active.
It is even worse. I got that ‘Falcon’s Gale’ thing active, which works pretty decent. With Razor Wings, it simply does not happen, because there are hardly any marks set near me. Razor Wings is obviously something for masochists
I am thinking about this and I’m wondering if it reduces the overall damage dealt to single targets. It looks like it should be the same damage since it says “hits enemy in a line rather than hitting enemies individually”. So I guess in terms of damage is the same, I have yet to test it on the dummies tho to see DMG numbers. Vertical line tho is beautiful for a play style where u just run away from mob packs and aline them one behind each other and then just slam falcon strike on them
