I am theory crafting around new Heartseeker skill. With this new unique: Ravager’s Dart https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/UAzCsGYHZyA , Does the Heart Seeker skill still need to be used with a bow? Or as now it is a Trhowing Skill you could use others weapons type?
And I guess you should aim for throwing attack speed instead of bow attack speed and all that kind of stuff, right?

Heartseekers tooltip says that it requires a bow, and there is nothing on this unique that says it no longer does, so my guess is that it does still require a bow.

I think that idea behind this unique was that you’re not supposed to use Heartseeker directly, but instead rely on autocast from the affix, which will enable use of basic Heartseeker by other masteries. Looks fun for a flask trap build as an additional damage dealer.
It’s tricky, actually. In theory, this will change the bow tag to a throwing tag. So the skill no longer has that bow tag.
On the other hand, with the other unique that is similar to it, Jelkhor’s Blast Knife, it specifically says that you no longer need a bow.
So I could see it going either way, to be honest.
This is exactly why I’m guessing it would still need a bow.
Or it was an oversight on the wording 
I don’t think it makes sense to lose the bow tag and still require one. But I’m guessing we’ll know soon enough anyway.
More like, it would be missing an affix, as in Jelkhor’s Blast Knife case it is a separate thing than an addition to the tag change affix.
I asked Mike on discord and he says you don’t need a bow anymore with this helmet on.
He also said that the helmet should prevent you from manually casting the skill (it autocasts on its own).
Would be great if mechanics like these would be an affix as well. Then we would not need to guess like we did in the thread.
