Randomize Echoes map layout

I really think the map layout of echoes should be randomized instead of having to play the same levels from campaign over and over again. This way you would never get to play 2 times the same map.

I think that would really improve the fun of getting those grand blessing in preparation for endgame pushing.

Seeing the same levels over and over again kills the fun for me.

The tech for procedural generated maps is currently not ingame yet, but it think it’s on the dev’s to do list.

So it will come eventually.

I actually had the impression that procedural generated maps will be in by 1.0. But after Mike’s earlier dev stream (not the most recent one), I now get the impression that this might be a post-1.0 thing.

I personally don’t mind that, MoF map variety already got increased a little bit with the latest MoF update and i am sure we will probably see more areas with the next few patches. (Especially when the new chapter is implemented, i think some of the new areas already might be chapter 9 content, maybe)

Of course that doesn’t replace randomly generated maps, but having a bigger map pool at least still helps with variety.

Yeah. Me too very interested to know will this feature included and then it’l happen, because it is a main thing that i am wainting.

Do you have a source for this?
I would also like procedurally created maps much better.

I think in my opinion that, all maps should be randomly generated either from the start or right after you finish the tutorial area at the beginning of your journey.

I think I was level 80+ when I created this post. Now that I’m level 98 with 831 total echoes conquered this thing starts to bother me more and more. Feels annoying to see the same map layouts over and over.

I don’t think that adding the missing chapters will solve this problem by any mean. If you typically need to go through 1000 echoes to level to 100, you really really need randomized map layout for it not to feel a chore.
