Random Mastery No Guide Season Start

Twelve days to go! I’ll get a random mastery and not use a build guide for at least the first week. This is the most fun way to season start and best way to learn the game.

Whose with me?

Couldn’t be me.

I commend you for going with no guide. IMO in today’s day and age people are really missing out on going into games without a a lay out plan, becasue they feel like they need to be “as efficient/good as possible”.

However random mastery is something I personally would never do, I am very particular in what kind of classes/masteries I like and want to play.

One build that is still on the list from last patch that I didn’t come around playing would be:
Dancing Strikes BD with Gladioator’s Oath and the Truesight Glass Primordial Amulet that gives Deadly Strikes (overcrits)

Other than that the new rings they teased are looking very interesting, I was thinking about doing a Volcanic Orb Sorcerer with Sacrifical Embrace and Lamnent of the Last Refuge (not sure what primordial yet, but maybe the set ring and combining that with Gaspar’s Set, not sure yet).

Most importantly just play something that looks fun to you.
I feel like playing an objectively worse build that you just like more stylistically/thamatically will give you more fun that simply have a “good build”

I literally got suckered into a hype build last season after really wanting to do my own build - sure the build was meta but man it made levelling and playing the first 3 days so cringe to me as it wasn’t something I enjoyed and I ended up changing about day 4. You sir are a brave soul and I’m here for it!

Agreed, rsrs
I like playing last epoch and discovering the skills

I have this one in my to do list too  Eye of a Reen , Shadow Rend or maybe charged puncture
Ahah new set for orbs n Lament spear for SB  and something for Sacrificial Embrace too

I’d like to try using sacrifice and VZ. Since there’s a new node that will attach a dread shade to zombies, which in turn will apply doombrand to your other minions, it could be a real ba-da-boom. Add nodes for respawning skeletons, as well as nodes for using sacrifice… I think it’ll be fun.
The only downside is that you’ll have to summon zombies directly.
