Hi there! Couldn’t find any information regarding Quintessence of triumph Runemaster passive node. At 7 points it gives more spell damage on a condition that your current Ward is higher than the targets HP.
Is there a way to know targets HP (like bosses should have something in range of millions, then the node is pretty useless?) or is there something hidden behind the wording, because most if not all of the guides take this node.
Not that I’m aware of, no. Enemies in this game generally will have way higher HP than the player and way lower damage, as with most things. Definitely not something you’re relying on. Plus, if you could one shot yourself with your current ward (seems likely), it’ll literally never come into play. The increased damage which is not conditional is the draw imho
Do the guides you’re talking about have another node beyond “Quintessence of Triumph” that requires you to have this node to get to? That could be another reason they are taking it.
EDIT: Ok, so I just logged into my RM and checked the node out. It’s likely they are just using it b/c of the base 7% increased spell damage per point, which at 10 would give you an increase of %70 increased spell damage.
