Are there any plans to have any form of “trade in” or something of the sort for all of these extra unique/set items, or should we just be selling all of our excess? Would be cool to have something like trading in 2 unique/set items for a randomized unique. Just an extra little bit of RNG for our RNG =P

Both of those topics have been brought up multiple times so I know the devs are aware of the desire.
The “trade-up” concept has been suggested and discussed recently but I don’t see anything happening for that, but the “trade federation” is on the horizon. We will have a choice between trade (Merchant’s Guild) and better drop chance (Circle of Fortune).
Stacking of keys is one thing that I “think” the devs are planning, it was mentioned recently but can’t put my finger on the post that I believe indicates it’s going to be done. It sure would be a nice thing.
Yeah I know the trade up thing has been mentioned a lot, was just hoping to maybe get someone from EHG in here to maybe confirm if it’s on the table currently or not xD.
Yeah the key thing was brought up and I thought they were going to be putting that in soon, idk.
I know Grim Dawn has something like this. But it wasn’t implemented until the legendary pool was sooooooooo deep that it was almost impossible to complete sets and stuff. I don’t think LE is anywhere near that state yet.
That said, it would be nice to find something to do with all of the legendary drops that are usually just sold (or never picked up.) Some suggestions have been maybe breaking them down for random mats or accumulating 20 of them allows you to break them all down into a special Rune that allows you to reroll the range on a modifier on a legendary.
There will be a trade system in the future you can choose to use and join. Then you can sell your uniques to whomever. Outside of that I simply vendor trash bad rolled uniques or throw them back on the ground depending on my mood.
