Question: triggering channeled abilities

I have quick question, what happens if you trigger a channeled ability

for example if i use the node Mountain Peak on Avalanche to turn it into channeled ability and then trigger avalanche either thru idol or some skill interaction, how will the triggered skill behave ? will it just ignore the channeling part ? and what about all the other points locked behind the channeling node, will those be disabled too or can i benefit this way ?

im using avalanche just as example, im interested in knowing how this trigger channel works in general

That doesn’t trigger Avalanche, it just drops a rock. You shouldn’t be able to trigger a channeled skill.

ok so it will not “cast” the skill per say but just use all the tree that is applicable to the boulder ?
