Smelter’s Wrath does 50% more damage per second charged. The default ability has a 2 second max charge time, so would be 100% more damage for a full 2 second charge.
If I have 100% faster attack speed it would bring that down to 1 second max charge time. Would I still get 100% more damage as if I had charged it for 2 full seconds even though it was technically only charged for 1 second?
No. Attack speed only matters to how long after casting/using the skill you are free again to do other things. It doesn’t affect the 2s count.
Ok yea I kinda meant just increased charged speed in general. There’s a node that increases charging speed by 50%. If I do a full charge with that node it would be 1.5 second max charge time. Would I still be getting 100% more damage or only 75% more damage now that it’s only 1.5 seconds instead of 2?
Ah, I see what you mean now. Yes, it would stil be 100% more damage. If you charged it for half a second you’d get 50%, 1s gives you 100%.
