Question on Tempest Strike: Wrath of the Mountain + Avalanche: Wild Path interaction

Tempest Strike’s “Wrath of the Mountain” node reads: “While chanelling Avalanche, you also cast Frigid Tempest every second.” with the subtext: “Frigid Tempest each second during Avalanche.”

Avalanche has a node, “Wild Path”, that makes it last 5 seconds without requiring you to channel the ability.

How would these nodes interact? Wrath of the Mountain description makes me think “they won’t work together since it says ‘while channeling’.” but the subtext says “during Avalanche” which lasts 5s with Wild Path.

Has anyone tried this, or can devs clarify?

They dont interact when you take the avalanche talent to cast instead of channel.

If you take the avalanche cast speed nodes, and boulder drop rate, you can spam click, which will also proc the proc and get a ton of dsmsge but it plays crappy.

Shaman still feels very patchwork.
