Question for Devs about Loot / Crafting system

Hello and thank you for dropping by to read this. I was wondering if there were any plans in the future for either the loot system to pay attention to what passives and abilities you are investing in and for there to be a way for the system to arrange Affixes on items that reflect your choices more often…

OR for there to be a new glyph where you could have a higher chance of rolling affixes related to your build choices? If not, I think this would be a cool thing to have for the RNG system! Thoughts?

Dont think I have heard of anything being discussed that would affect the RNG loot of any particular build - i.e. if you had a certain set of skills on your toolbar or passives chosen with a specific class then the chances of dropping affixes that would be more suited to that setup would be higher… (if I understand your suggestion correctly).

The loot system does already drop things based on class but not build and there is a way to increase certain drops by choosing the bonuses from the Monolith Blessings - i.e. you can increase the chances of a class specific shard dropping or increase the chances of a 2h axe drop or helms… You can also, in Monoliths, do echo islands that give specific drops when completed…

Not sure I like the idea tho… It may help farming for very niche/specific builds that you are playing at that exact time, but to me that would be negative wrt. getting other items that would motivate me to try an totally different build because a good exalt for another setup dropped… I can see the benefit, but I like the variety that the RNG allows…

That’s fine. It was just a thought. I am very happy with how crafting is going so far, so I think you can only add goodness to it from here. Thanks for reminding me of those though.
