If I’m at full HP and take a theoretical 1-shot-kill amount of damage, will some of that damage be negated via Endurance, potentially saving me from death?
OR does Endurance only take effect if I’m already at/below the HP threshold at the moment I get hit?
Yes, any damage taken under your endurance threshold is subject to the Endurance damage reduction, even if the attack originated above the threshold. Endurance was designed to help mitigate the possibility of one shots.
