Question about moving Epoch shards

‘This note is written bu some strange Englsh, but you can read barely this.’

//Ponpoko’s note//
I am in confuse about 3 Epoch shards at 0.9.1.
Especially, my question is where come from Balthus’s first shard?

The keepers note says

(A) The first Epoch shard is held in a fortress. Ancient Eterran mechanisms hold it in place, with no one but us knowing how to enter.
(B) The second vault is deep inside the Sonefall mountains. With traps that only the Keepers know how to maneuver.
(C) The third shard is always on the move. It uses multiple vault: only we possess the knowledge to open them. This is why can never call a single place “home”.

At first, I thought Balthus’s first shard from (C).
(A)'s fortress means Traveler and Baltus visit place.(Baltus’s second shard)
(B) is place searched by Greal.

But if so, I have some questions.

1 Maybe I think Greal run away with shard, but how does Greal enter in B’s vault without Keeper’s help.
Was the trap too easy?

2 How does Gaspar who in the Ruined Era knows the 3rd shard is in Temple of Ettera?

If Baltus’s first shard from other, not C, I think it is more difficult to track shards moving and explanation about those…

Or my interpretation is wrong?
What do you think about this?

Because he’s in the future? I don’t think it’s too unreasonable that someone from the future knows the historical whereabouts of a very special thing. Maybe it even has some weird timeywimey resonance thing so it’s possible to work out where it is?

After you rescue Balthas for the second time, he says he has 2 shards “the one I keep with me, and the one from the vault”. So he’s most likely the carrier for the third shard plus he picked up one of the two kept in the vaults (A or B). I don’t think Grael mentioned finding any shard, though absence of evidence is not evidence of absence so I doubt that he had one and gave it to Balthus.

Yes, I thought so too!

But other side, I think it is need some explation why the last shard be in temple of Eterra, even one line.

If Greal is Immortal Emperor and he had the last shard, it seems very unkindly that Gasper does not alarm it to us. (about rumor that horrible monster that has the last shard is in temple of Ettera.)

Of course, It may be that the information only about the monster was lost in long hearsay, only remains about the shard…

Or, anyone put the last shard in temple of Eterra before it…?

Before 0.9.1, I thought the last shard had been keep in temple of Eterra from ancient time, never been take out by anyone in long history. So, Gasper knew it as old knowledge.
And I thought the Emperor’s remain finally entered the temple before arrived traveler, and he wanted to take out the last shard with the feeling of clinging to straw before he is consume by void.

But after I read keeper’ note in 0.9.1, my confuse was beginning.
If Immortal Emperor had the last shard for long time in temple, why he did not use shard power?

As long as I see the traveler, the shard holder can move the place where visited once, even only 1 shard.
For example, after jumping ruined Era, traveler can jump the place where visited once in divine era.

Well, it may not be worth thinking too much about as of this moment…
