Having 83% fire elemental resistance (other res capped as well), i have got killed by… fire damage, I know cap is 75% but I went from full HP 2587 to 0 in no time to even click HP pot (which is joke having 500 hp restore). I was doing echoing corruption lvl 100, critical strike avoidance i have is 111%. So how many HP i need to be safe?
Explosive Ground hits up to 5 times in less than a second, you didn’t get one-shot, you just got hit too fast to react. Was it from a dinosaur model? Never stand on dinosaur models, ever.

Anecdotal, since 0.9 DoTs across the board seem to be “hitting” like freight trains. Some worse than others but it is something I’ve noticed and I’ve seen comments on it here and when I used to be on Discord.
I don’t think it’s a bug (could be wrong) I just think it’s how the new interactions changed with penetration and various other things that happened at that release. Maybe in the formulas. I don’t know, I’m not really a numbers guy but I do feel it is different now.
As @ExcretusMaximus said, you stood on a thing that you should never stand on. It’s a learning experience.
