I try to farm Abarroth and thus Harbinger Eye.
Its…not working though.
After completion of the Quests for the 10 free ones the droprate is Abysmally low and im wondering if i am doing something wrong somewhere.
I am farming Harkon right now at 448 Corruption with Harbingers Crest active (So always Boss+harbinger) and i now have about 50 Needles and only 6 eyes.
This seems extremly low for me i got to be honest.
Is there something im doing wrong or is there a better farm for these?
Seems like bad RNG. The chances for an eye to drop range from 25% to 75% based on corruption. So I would guess you should have way more on average. So it seems like you’re just terribly unlucky.
As a sidenote, and on the flip side of your issue, I’ve killed dozens of harbingers and never had a needle drop, so…
Needles have a smaller chance to drop. I’m assuming you killed about 100 harbingers so far to get 50 needles. You should have way more eyes than needles. But RNG is a fickle mistress
It’s possible some dropped and I didn’t notice, but not too likely, tbh. It’s just bad luck.
A relatively surefire way is to use envy to increasy stability to then kill bosses back to back. That alleviates the scarcity.
Also keeping in mind… abby is supposed to be a hard end-game boss, hence access needs to be limited. The problem is that we don’t have anything else to work towards currently, with woven echos being a pure RNG gating (as if we didn’t have enough of that yet) and hence not aiding in alleviating that. It’ll get better with more content over time though for sure.
I farmed (tried at least) Eye’s since yesterday. First time I made it through to aberroth with homebrew build. I needed 5 Eyes to get every ability he uses and still lost, due to personal faults. Now all my tries are gone. I can afk farm Arenas in ~400 corr…
I got a new stashtab full of needles. and 1 Eye -.-
this is a joke! I played Horizon after horizon and didnt get Eyes out of it…with 25% it should be 2 per horizon run…ok, RNG is a bitch…happens 1 or 2 times to go empty handed… but by now im about 10 runs and still 1 single FU**ING EYE
LETools, but they’ve since changed it because I can’t find it now (although there are still references to this on reddit, so I didn’t imagine it ).
So maybe the chance got changed in the game as well and that’s why the OP is having such issues?
