Quality of Life Suggestions – Cosmetic Pet and Echo Improvements
Overview
I would like to suggest some Quality of Life improvements focused on reducing gameplay friction during long farming sessions while maintaining game balance and respecting Last Epoch’s design philosophy.
1. Functional Cosmetic Pet (Auto Pickup)
Introduce a cosmetic pet capable of automatically collecting:
- Gold
- Runes
- Glyphs
The pet would provide no gameplay advantage, damage bonus, or progression increase — only convenience.
Benefits
- Reduces repetitive clicking fatigue
- Improves farming flow
- Creates additional cosmetic monetization opportunities through pet skins, animations, and visual effects
This would be a purely QoL feature aligned with cosmetic monetization.
2. Tomb Fast Travel After Discovery
When a Tomb is discovered inside an Echo, unlocking a fast travel option to its entrance would improve map pacing.
Many players prefer clearing the entire Echo before entering the Tomb, which currently requires excessive backtracking.

- Better player agency
- Improved farming efficiency
- Reduced downtime between objectives
3. Aura Echo Visual Identification
Echoes affected by Aura modifiers could be visually marked on the Echo Web using:
- Icons
- Colored overlays matching the aura modifier
Benefits
- Faster strategic planning
- Better readability of the Echo Web
- More efficient farming decisions during Monolith progression
