Dear LE Team.

Me and my Friend are Grinding hard,
and after a couple hours we instanty noticed that running over gold and running to affix shards can be really annoying.

Our, (My) QoL suggestion would be : Make Pets auto collect gold & affix Shards.
now you think " that would be Pay2Win - well people bought the game, ppl bought support packs either they have allready a pet or maybe we get a pet as a reward from a quest or boss.

would be glad if you guys could take that as a concideration.

Suggested very often, devs don’t really like the idea, feel like it’s not necessary.

It wouldn’t be. When asked about it, Mike repeatedly said that if they ever implemented this option, everyone would get a free pet.

Also, this should be in Feedback and Suggestions, not general. I would advise you to edit the OP and change the category.

Honestly, it becomes less and less of an issue as you advance the game. You start to have so many affixes that you simply leave a bunch on the ground anyway, since you don’t need more of the common ones.
And most of the gold comes from rare packs, which you tend to pick up because they either close in on you or because you get within the pick up radius when you go pick up their drops.

Personally, I haven’t felt the need for this in a very long time. I often leave shards lying around all over the map (often I don’t even pick up the ones in the chest reward after an echo) and I never bother detouring to pick up small amounts of gold. It’s more efficient to simply move to the next pack for a larger amount.

And it would all be even more efficient if the game just auto collected our gold and affixes. Or our pets could pick them up for us, which is itself a bandaid fix for a problem that really shouldn’t exist.

It would be even more efficient if our pets fought for us and killed everything and picked up all the loot and crafted automatically. So?

The amount of gold that gets left to the side is mostly meaningless. Most of your gold will come from rares, bosses, gold shrines/echoes, etc. The random drops of white trash mobs don’t really add up to much.

I doubt it’s a good idea to add pets that collect stuff. Many ppl choose not to use mtx pets also i don,t like to use em since it feels like a distraction… Many ppl would be forced to use pets for this advantage at this point so not a good idea.
