Pull Content Forward from Next Season using Season Refresh as the Fronted Reason

If the roadmap remains the same, Season 5 will take ~ 6 months from now and Expansion another ~ 6 months. Suggestion is that if EHG doesn’t plan to alter this roadmap, then perform a Season 4 and Season 5 refresh, each ~ 3 months in, by pulling in near-complete content that just requires prod testing and marketing it as a mid-season event.

Another post complaining about 6 months blablabla.

And you dismissing a suggestion with a thought ending statement without understanding the policy position or intent doesn’t make you a good person.

Anyway that’s all fine and pointless. The only policy position that matters is EHG’s and what they know to be profitable. I could care less as long as LE is still around and putting out content in 10 years. If a 6 month cadence is profitable, then great! If not, and the negative attention is hurting profitability too much for such a trivial matter, then they should experiment a bit with models to drive engagement and pack sales.

I don’t think that’s unreasonable. I do think that asking for the content that apparently requires 6 months to create to be done in half the time is a recipe for disaster though.

They don’t know though, that’s the problem, they have yet to make a profit.

What you’re asking for is the industry standard 3-4 month cycles, which is fine, we don’t know why EHG has never been able to do that since launch, they were putting out major patches every 3ish months prior to 0.8 (Rogue), but they have yet to be able to do it since.

It’s not.
