I wanted to see what happened, so I grabbed one item of each.
IIRC, the unique was CoF, and the exalted was MG. May have been the other way around but unlikely.
The result was this:
It is now impossible to retrieve the item AND to put new items by doing a new run.
So be careful of doing this, it will lock you out of endgame crafting.
The bug is already reported, but I felt like this needed a PSA.
