Why do my skeletons march behind me? Am I some sort of moron putting all my resources into my minions only to be in front of them? I am their general my place is at the back. Every mobile minion should have three formation options to tell them to march Infront , behind or with me. and three modes of aggression, to be aggressive, normal or defensive.

In general, I would like that.
In practice, I send my minions ahead while walking by pressing A every second or so.
This makes them walk in front of me.

But the A button is a pain and is not the same as formations. I want maybe my warriors to form a grid around me while my wraiths range in front of me. while my archers take up the rear. Maybe I want my golem to be defensive and protect me while I want my rouges to be hyper agressive and chase to the edges of the screen after mobs.
Yeah, I would like that, too. But since I don’t have it, I work with the limited tools available as best as I can. That’s turret wraith and ‘A’ button for me in case of my necro.
I am all for configurable stances and maybe formations for each type of minion.

Yea the Turret Wraith is amazing because it is the only minion that does vaugly want you want. stays where it is told, and never stops attacking enemies.
That’s what got me going down a totem shaman path with my other toon. Pure turret minions.
