2 out of 3 of the first prophecies I attempted to purchase did not grant me the prophecy. I was charged for the prophecy and the constellation was rerolled, but no prophecy.

I’ve had the same happen to me the first time I bought a prophecy. The prophecies are also rerolled as if you had bought one, but I didn’t get the completion for the miniquest of acquiring your first prophecy
Same is happening here as well. I have had 1 disappear, and 2 re-roll to prophecies I did not choose. Ex. Chose “The Raider” with a sword reward, but received “The Hermit” which is a staff.
*Edit - this seems to occur when you hit confirm and there is a prophecy underneath the box, perhaps clicking the layer below
