What went wrong?
Open the game from the Steam Library, leaving Steam open while the game loads. When this bug hits, the first time there will be a big button saying “Steam is required”. Hitting the button take to a forum post. Going back to the game, there is no graceful exit button, so close the window.
Restart the game from steam, and an error window pops up and closes to fast to read, and then the game stops.
Reopening from the steam library gives the same effect.
Re-starting steam and reopening the game from the steam library sometimes fixes, sometimes not.
Two log files attached, second and third tries to re-open the game, the third is after a Steam re-start. The log file mentions a crash file: A folder is created for the crash, but it is empty.
