The Problem: I cannot progress the quest because the Forgotten Knight NPC is bugged. She claims to have given me the “Harbinger Crest,” but it’s not in my inventory, and her shop remains locked.
Key Details:
Quest Stage: “Buy the Woven Echo of the Omen’s Veil and enter it.”
The Bug: Clicking the NPC only shows dialogue. No shop button/icon appears.
Inventory: Resource tab and Echo tab are empty (except for a high-level version I already had).
NPC Dialogue: Stuck on “The Forgotten Knight has given you a Harbinger Crest,” but no item was actually delivered.
Troubleshooting already done:
- Relogged, restarted, and changed zones.
- Finished Monolith Echoes to force a state update.
- Cleared all dialogue options (no more speech bubbles).
- Checked “Gifts” and “Resources” tabs – nothing there.
Result: I can’t buy the required Quest-Echo, and the Rift won’t open. It’s a complete progression block.
