Progessing ARPGs

ARGPs as a whole have a problem. its just the gear grind and once you stop getting meaningful upgrades it gets repetitive. besides moving to a live service model or more content that just gets added. people need a way to flex their builds and be motivated to get more. maybe im just not good at this game but it feels like upgrades are few and far btw at a certain point.

suggestion is 2 fold make a competitive format whose rewards are tangle not rng. if there was some sort of co op pvp or pvp where you built rep like in the factions but the rewards for each rank were tangle items. something you can see and crave, that would be a huge motivator, at least for me. the rank rewards could rotate like the vendor stock on whatever time frame you would want. and it would be just a matter of playing time and or success rate of completing these activities. i look at games that have done this well like parts of diablo immortal and destiny 2

alos fix your set items they are not impactful as far as i can see
